Job summary

Jain Global LLC is seeking a Senior Low Latency OEMS Engineer (Java) to own latency-critical components of the in-house OEMS platform. The role focuses on end-to-end performance, from the sequenced core to gateways, with FIX connectivity and production tuning on Linux.

Responsibilities include tuning JVMs, implementing zero-allocation code paths, and leveraging AI coding agents to maintain high standards of correctness and speed in a distributed trading environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of Java development, including 3+ years on low latency trading systems (OMS/EMS, broker gateways, market data, or HFT).
• Experience deploying and operating in Linux environments with incident response and performance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement zero-allocation, latency-critical components in the OEMS core.
• Build and operate market-facing gateways and APIs (FIX, Aeron/SBE, Kafka).
• Apply Java low latency practices, measure latency with benchmarks, and optimize production systems.
