Job summary

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent required, AA degree preferred.
• 3+ years experience in loss prevention, retail, or security.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external partners including law enforcement.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain working relationships with associates at all levels of the organization.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively problem solve with the proper sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Monitor stores for theft and fraud and deter or apprehend individuals after validating dishonest acts.
• Lead complex, high risk, or high value external theft investigations across locations.
• Monitor store entrances, exits, sales floor, and checkout areas and coordinate investigative activity.
• Observe and engage individuals exhibiting dishonest actions using approved techniques.
• Utilize CCTV, reporting tools, and investigative resources to detect theft indicators and patterns.
• Document incidents, maintain evidence, and provide detailed reports to leadership and investigations teams.
• Partner with LP leadership and law enforcement to resolve theft cases and assist with case development.
