Job summary

Goodwill Central Texas is seeking a Loss Prevention professional to reduce shrink and protect assets across locations. You will lead investigations, interview staff, and produce written reports with strong attention to detail.

You will serve as the subject matter expert on CCTV and access control, support asset protection programs, and collaborate with operations, safety, and retail teams to maintain a secure environment. A high school diploma and LP experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years loss prevention experience or related experience.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
• Intermediate skills in POS reporting.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office and security camera and access control systems.
• Certification in Interviewing and Interrogation Techniques.
• Ability to maintain confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing all loss prevention procedures at all Goodwill Central Texas locations by complete investigations, including gathering evidence, conducting interviews, and preparing reports.
• Maintain activity summaries, incident reports, and observation reports.
• Serve as in-house expert on CCTV and access control systems to investigate LP matters, security and safety incidents.
• Assist with Key Control and Asset Protection programs.
• Collaborate with Safety/Security to maintain a positive security posture on Goodwill property.
• Coordinate with Operations on CCTV placement during new buildings/remodels.
• Utilize POS exception reports and LP tools for investigations.
• Participate in retail inventory counts and review POS exception reports for policy violations or theft.
• Work with Retail and District Managers on LP issues per location/district.
• Attend meetings as LP subject matter expert; support company leaders on LP requests.
• Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including law enforcement.
