Job summary

Goodwill Central Texas in Austin, TX is seeking a Full Time Loss Prevention Specialist to support asset protection across locations. The role involves investigations, reporting, and coordinating with operations and facilities for security installations.

The candidate will apply expertise in CCTV and access control to prevent losses, monitor POS reports, and work with store managers and district leaders to address LP issues. A strong ethics framework is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years loss prevention experience or related experience.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
• Intermediate skills in POS reporting.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office and security camera and access control systems.
• Certification in Interviewing and Interrogation Techniques.
• Ability to maintain confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing loss prevention procedures at all Goodwill Central Texas locations by conducting investigations and preparing reports.
• Maintain activity, incident and observation summaries.
• Serve as in-house SME on CCTV and access control systems for investigations, security and safety.
