Job summary

Gallagher is seeking a Senior Loss Control Advisor to lead consultative loss control services for assigned customers and JPAs, following department guidelines. The role requires 5+ years in Safety, Risk or Insurance and ability to obtain state licenses.

The position involves on-site inspections of facilities, evaluating hazards, advising on safety programs, and developing action plans to reduce losses. Travel is heavy (90%) within the assigned territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience required.
• 5 years related experience in Safety, Risk, or Insurance.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Moderate travel required, including some overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Be the lead point of contact for loss control services to assigned customers.
• Perform on-site Property/Liability and Employee Safety inspections to identify hazardous conditions and recommend corrective actions.
• Review safety programs for compliance and effectiveness; assist in writing deficient programs.
• Provide safety training classes and presentations as approved.
• Advise clients on safety, compliance and risk management matters.
• Develop and implement risk management best practices with clients.
• Conduct ergonomic evaluations and accident investigations as approved.
• Prepare client reports meeting department guidelines and turnaround times.
