Job summary

Gallagher is seeking a Loss Control Advisor to support Florida’s public risk management programs. You will perform risk assessments on-site, advise members, and craft action plans to reduce exposures.

Working with FIA and Gallagher teams, you’ll translate data into practical guidance, deliver training, and help members meet regulatory standards. Candidates should have 3–5 years of related experience, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel up to 50% with occasional overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Minimum secondary education required with 3-5 years related experience.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% with occasional overnight stays (<25%).

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site risk assessments and provide detailed observations and recommendations.
• Develop customized loss control plans aligned with member goals and operations.
• Deliver informative training sessions for internal and external customers.
• Conceive and maintain technical resources to support member risk management.
• Collaborate with underwriting, claims, and agency partners to improve risk services.
