Job summary

Vensure Employer Solutions seeks a Loss Control Specialist to deliver loss control services for clients within a defined region. The role emphasizes hazard assessments, on-site safety surveys, and recommending controls to reduce workers' compensation losses.

You will develop health and safety programs, conduct accident investigations, and coordinate with claims and OSHA guidelines. Frequent travel to client sites is required, and a valid driver’s license is essential.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent; minimum 2 years’ experience in safety and health.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; willingness to learn other applications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hazard assessments for underwriting; evaluate risk acceptability.
• Perform onsite safety surveys and client interviews to identify hazards and exposures.
• Develop customized health and safety programs and support implementation and compliance.
• Prepare detailed written recommendations to mitigate hazards and exposures.
• Coordinate with Claims Manager and regulators; provide OSHA guidance.
• Travel domestically to client sites, meetings, and training events.
