Job summary

Intergovernmental Risk Management Agency (IRMA) is seeking a Senior Loss Control Consultant to join our in-house risk management and training team in Northeastern Illinois. Reporting to the Director of Risk Management and Training, you will apply risk, technical, and claims experience to deliver comprehensive risk management services to over 70 municipal and public entities.

The ideal candidate coordinates and delivers training programs, conducts loss control visits, and provides expert guidance

Qualifications

• Experience in risk assessment, loss control and safety program implementation.
• Ability to coordinate and deliver training programs to municipal entities.
• Experience with regulatory and safety compliance standards.
• Strong communication with local leaders and stakeholders.

With an excellent record of reducing losses, we are looking for a customer-orientated self-starter to join our fast-paced in-house risk management and training team.

Reporting to the Director of Risk Management and Training, the ideal candidate will have the perfect combination of risk, technical, and claims experience to help drive the success of the department in delivering comprehensive risk management services to over 70 municipal and public entities in Northeastern Illinois.

Creation of a risk management partnership with local leaders on the development of risk mitigation plans, analysis, and policy development is an essential component of the position.
