Job summary

Lithium Americas is seeking a Logistics and Warehousing Supervisor to lead all warehousing, inventory management, and inbound/outbound logistics at the Thacker Pass operation. You will supervise MRO stores, bulk chemicals, finished goods, and staging areas, ensuring accuracy, safety, and timely movement of materials for construction and production.

You will manage vendor coordination, carrier relationships, and regulatory compliance, while driving continuous improvement and mentoring a logistics

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Five+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, or supply chain operations.
• Two+ years in a supervisory/lead role.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and operational excellence with strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with export logistics, transload operations, and coordination with third-party logistics providers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations including MRO stores, spare parts, bulk and packaged chemical reagents, finished goods, and material staging areas.
• Maintain accurate inventory records across material categories and storage systems.
• Conduct cycle counts and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Lead safety and compliant handling of materials, equipment, and chemical reagents.
• Coordinate outbound transportation, export logistics, and handoffs to carriers and freight forwarders.
• Mentor warehouse, shipping, receiving and logistics personnel; manage workforce planning and safety leadership.
