Job summary

Lithium Americas Corp. seeks a Logistics and Warehousing Supervisor to oversee all site warehousing, inventory management, and inbound/outbound logistics at the Thacker Pass operation.

Based in Winnemucca, NV, you will lead warehousing functions, ensure inventory accuracy, and coordinate with contractors and carriers to support construction, commissioning and steady-state production while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, or supply chain operations, preferably in asset-intensive industries.
• Minimum of two (2) years in a supervisory, lead, or team leadership role.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and operational excellence, with strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of transportation operations, carrier management, and regulatory requirements including hazardous materials transportation.
• Experience with export logistics, transload operations, terminal management, and coordination with third-party logistics providers.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP preferred).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including MRO stores and finished goods.
• Maintain accurate inventory records across material categories and ensure cycle counts.
• Lead safe receiving, inspection, storage, and handling of materials and reagents.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound transportation and scheduling with cross-functional teams.
• Develop and mentor warehouse and logistics staff, including training and safety leadership.
• Ensure packaging, labeling, and shipping documentation meet regulatory requirements.
• Monitor carrier performance and optimize logistics costs and service levels.
