Job summary

Moog's Military Aircraft Group in Torrance, CA is seeking a Senior Logistics Technician (level IV) to join the team reporting to the Inventory Control & Shipping Supervisor. This onsite role involves managing material handling logistics, inbound/outbound processing, and ensuring proper documentation for shipments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus minimum 4 years in material handling logistics.
• Experience with RTV processes.
• Experience with rework dispositions.
• Experience with creating rework WO.
• Experience with researching and reconciling variances.
• Experience with reworks (NC Tip QA process).
• Experience with processing inbound and outbound material.
• Experience with moving materials physically and systematically.
• Computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Develop and initiate process improvements within or outside of the team by leading and participating.
• Backup for Coordinator or Supervisor.
• Conduct training for others on roles and responsibilities across team.
• Maintain traceability of materials and verify vendor documentation.
• Coordinate and scheduling delivery with trucking companies.
• Receive products and materials from vendors, customers, and subsidiaries.
• May operate forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, and other material handling equipment.
