Job summary

Moog Inc. is hiring a Logistics Technician II for the Buffalo, NY onsite facility. The role covers stockroom, shipping, receiving and dispatch to ensure timely, accurate flow of materials in a precision manufacturing environment.

The position requires 3+ years in material handling/logistics, SAP experience preferred, and potential leadership responsibilities. 2nd/3rd shift with 10% shift differential is offered along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; ability to understand written and verbal English instructions.
• At least 3 years of material handling/logistics experience.
• Experience with Warehouse Management System; SAP experience preferred as Moog transitions.
• Front line leadership experience as a team lead or trainer preferred.

Responsibilities

• Package and prepare products for shipment per written/verbal instructions, coordinating delivery with trucking companies.
• Ensure parts are clean before packaging.
• Receive products/materials from vendors, customers, and subsidiaries.
• Occasionally drive or deliver parts between plants/buildings.
• Label and package to meet contractual requirements and complete documentation.
• Maintain material traceability and verify vendor documents against parts.
• Move materials throughout the shop and stock inventory.
• Provide coaching or training to trainees as needed.
• May perform higher-level tasks such as lot-traceable part selection and work order splits.
