Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking a Logistics Technician I for the Buffalo, NY area to manage shipping, receiving and material movement in a fast-paced production environment. You will package, label and document shipments while ensuring traceability and on-time delivery of components used in aerospace systems.

The role requires attention to detail, computer use, and ability to operate across a busy shop floor, with a 2nd shift that includes a 10% differential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred; otherwise, ability to follow English instructions and perform basic math.
• Background in shipping and receiving preferred.
• Must be able to utilize computers and computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Package and prepare products for shipment per written/verbal instructions; coordinate delivery with trucking companies.
• Ensure cleanliness of parts prior to packaging.
• Receive products and materials from vendors, customers, and subsidiaries.
• Occasionally drive and/or deliver parts between plants.
• Ensure proper labeling and packaging to meet contractual requirements and complete documentation.
• Maintain traceability of materials with vendor documentation and trace numbers.
• Material movement throughout the shop and inventory stocking.
