Job summary

Forgent Power is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to plan, implement, and oversee the movement, storage, and distribution of goods. You will lead logistics staff and collaborate with customers, carriers, and internal teams to optimize the supply chain.

Responsibilities include managing inbound/outbound operations, budgeting, and implementing TMS/WMS/ERP solutions while ensuring regulatory compliance and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 7–10 years’ experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation management.
• Knowledge of shipping regulations and transportation modes.
• Experience managing teams and third-party providers.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage inbound and outbound logistics operations.
• Oversee transportation and distribution activities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and vendors.
• Monitor logistics costs, prepare budgets, and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
• Analyze logistics performance metrics and implement improvements.
• Ensure compliance with shipping regulations.
• Lead logistics staff including hiring and performance reviews.
• Resolve shipment delays and other logistics issues.
• Coordinate with purchasing, production, sales, and customer service teams.
• Implement and maintain logistics systems and tools (TMS, WMS, ERP).
