Description

The Specialty/Carlstar Division of Titan International is seeking a Senior Logistics Specialist for the Franklin, TN corporate office. This role’s primary responsibilities include carrier contracting, carrier management, and data analysis to ensure the efficient operation of the company’s transportation network. Regular responsibilities for this role will include creating and maintaining company metrics, including standardized reporting and detailed analysis of business challenges, project management, and transportation management system maintenance.

The scope of this role includes all domestic and international inbound/outbound shipments, incoming and outgoing from North America. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and comfortable with autonomous work, detail-oriented, and comfortable with utilizing analytical and interpersonal skills to drive continuous improvement across all modes of transportation.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Manages key transportation scorecards to improve carrier sourcing, emphasizing cost-effectiveness and reliability.
• Serves as primary superuser for Transportation Management System (TMS).
• Leads and maintains the Request for Proposal (RFP) process for truckload, LTL, Intermodal, Ocean, and Drayage carriers.
• Generates reports on key metrics and financial analysis utilizing a regular and ad hoc cadence, including necessary data modeling and analysis to escalate knowledge on business decisions to key internal and external stakeholders.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, or related field.
• 3+ Years Experience in Supply Chain preferably Transportation.
• Demonstrated intermediate-level skills in Transportation Management Systems.
• Excellent data analysis, mathematical, and interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication.
• Microsoft Excel proficiency required.
• Demonstrated advanced project management skills with an emphasis on continuous improvement.
