Job description

Description:

NSI requires a Senior Logistics Specialist to support PMA-265 Growler Systems Integration (GSI) Team in developing and integrating product support requirements for the Global Lightning (GL) communication set for the F/A-18 Super Hornet and EA-18G Growler aircraft. The role involves providing training, product support development, and optimization for Fiber Option systems installed in F/A-18 and EA-18G aircraft. The specialist will collaborate closely with APMLs, Deputy APMLs, PSMs, and LEMs, and perform tasks related to the development, operation, evaluation, and improvement of weapon systems supportability and maintainability programs and information systems.

Key responsibilities include developing and sustaining logistics and maintainability programs, analyzing logistics requirements and resources, developing logistics support and maintenance plans, conducting systems acquisition requirements analysis, and managing budgets and financial analyses. The role also involves collecting, analyzing, and applying logistics, maintenance, acquisition, or financial data, and preparing documentation related to automated logistics or maintenance data reporting systems.

Location:

Lexington Park, MD

Education:

MS or MA Degree in Logistics Management, Business, Engineering, or Management.

Experience:
  • At least 10 years of full-time equivalent (FTE) experience in operational logistics or maintenance engineering.
  • Four (4) years of experience directing operational technicians in comprehensive analysis across IPS elements during a job assignment in an Operational Command or supporting an Operational Command.
  • Four (4) years of operational (fleet support) logistics support experience.
  • Two (2) years of specific experience in operational logistics planning and management, demonstrating the ability to independently perform logistics planning, scheduling, execution, and support system effectiveness analysis, studies, and evaluations supporting DoD weapons systems and equipment.
Security Clearance:

Secret Clearance required. Must be a U.S. citizen.
