Job summary

SMX is seeking a Project Manager to join the integrated program management office (PMO) in a leadership role supporting SOCPAC logistics projects. You will serve as a liaison with government points of contact and assist program leadership with administrative oversight, operations coordination, and vendor collaboration to achieve mission objectives.

Essential duties include financial oversight, status reporting, and documentation, with heavy emphasis on metrics and cross-functional coordination

Qualifications

Required clearance: Active Top Secret/SCI.
Gov contracting experience, DoD preferred, in customer-facing role.
PACOM AOR transportation network experience.
Airforce Joint Inventory process coordination/execution.
MIL and Commercial transportation documentation knowledge (import/export, VAT Exempt, SDDGs).
Knowledge of process improvement techniques and ability to lead initiatives.
Experience briefing senior government on programmatic/financial status.
Experience supporting large contracts involving complex development, production, fielding, or support initiatives.
SOCOM program management or technical leadership experience.
Knowledge of government funding/authority types.
Ability to travel (<=5%), active passport through 2027.

Responsibilities

Conduct financial oversight and contracting functions for all project requirements.
Report status, develop project documentation, capture lessons learned, and maintain production/quality metrics.
Support planning, execution, and evaluation of a multi-faceted program with customer collaboration.
Establish and maintain relationships with government program managers.
Manage daily communications, deliverable tracking, and financial reporting with subcontractors.
