Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Logistics Procurement Manager - North East in Middleton, MA to lead road transportation procurement and carrier development across bulk pneumatic, end dump, and flatbed operations. You will work with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement and Finance to deliver savings and ensure capacity.

The role requires strong commercial judgment, experience in trucking operations, and the ability to analyze spend, negotiate terms, and oversee cross-functional cost improvements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in logistics procurement, transportation sourcing, or road transportation management.
• Experience in bulk pneumatic, end dump, flatbed, or specialized trucking.
• Travel 25%.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage strategic partnerships with bulk pneumatic, end dump, and flatbed carriers, focusing on capacity and competition.
• Conduct carrier business reviews to evaluate service, safety, capacity, rate competitiveness and savings commitments.
• Support onboarding and governance requirements, including commercial agreements and compliance with DOT/HOS/safety requirements.
• Analyze transportation spend, lane-level rates, shipment volumes, and KPIs to identify sourcing opportunities.
• Develop data-driven reporting in Excel/Tableau/Power BI to monitor cost, savings, and carrier performance.
• Translate analysis into actionable recommendations for leadership.
• Manage detention, fuel surcharge, and other cost drivers.
