Job summary
MAPEI Corporation is seeking a Transportation and Logistics Manager specialized in Bulk Liquid/Chemical to oversee bulk liquid transportation for the Admixtures business in Illinois. You will partner with Procurement, manufacturing plants, Customer Service, and carriers to improve delivery reliability, freight efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in logistics, supply chain, transportation or related field.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary contact for bulk liquid carriers and manage relationships.
- Negotiate lane rates, fuel surcharges and accessorial charges with Procurement.
- Establish carrier scorecards and monitor on-time delivery and safety performance.
- Resolve disputes, billing issues, equipment breakdowns and delays to minimize disruptions.
- Plan multi-compartment loads to maximize payload and meet axle weight requirements.
- Coordinate pickups and deliveries with plants, Customer Service and carriers.
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Develop procedures for multi-product split loads to prevent contamination.
- Perform duties per BMS and EH&S regulatory requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
