Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking a proven Operations Manager to lead teams at our Lebanon, IN location. You will drive performance to exceed customer metrics, manage resources, and cultivate a safety-focused culture while aligning with the business plan.

The role requires 4–6 years of related experience with 3+ years in management, strong communication, and the ability to translate plans into execution. Hours are Mon-Fri 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 4 - 6 years related functional experience.
• 3+ years managerial or supervisory experience with DOT regulated positions required
• High School degree or equivalent required
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint required
• Must have ability to connect and build rapport with associates and external customers

Responsibilities

• Lead teams in a dynamic operational environment to exceed goals
• Develop forward-looking plans and turn them into execution
• Effectively manage resources to achieve operational excellence
• Implement and maintain an incident-free safety culture
• Meet or exceed customer KPIs and objectives
• Interact daily with local customer to understand needs
• Lead improvements in route optimization, carrier selection, backhauls
• Collaborate with other Penske sites to share best practices
