Job summary

Pacific Steel Group is seeking a Logistics Manager to lead movement, storage, staging, and shipment of raw materials, WIP, and finished products. You will ensure timely, safe, and cost-effective logistics to meet production schedules and customer commitments.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in logistics, strong leadership, and hands-on facility experience in steel or metals manufacturing. You will collaborate with production, procurement, and sales to optimize material flow and drive

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
10+ years in logistics, supply chain, shipping/receiving, transportation, or material management.
5+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
Experience in steel/metal manufacturing or heavy industrial environments preferred.
Experience coordinating inbound/outbound transportation and working with carriers.
Experience with inventory and material-control processes.

Responsibilities

Lead logistics planning, transportation, shipping and receiving, and material handling.
Oversee yard operations, inventory accuracy, and carrier relationships.
Partner with Production, Operations, Quality, Procurement, and Sales to support material flow.
Develop and monitor logistics metrics such as on-time shipment and inventory accuracy.
Manage logistics personnel and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
