We are seeking an experienced Senior Logistics Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate has the knowledge, experience, and demonstrated ability to perform tasks related to their discipline. They typically work independently, applying proper procedures and processes, with the ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot various situations to develop successful outcomes within established guidelines. Work is performed independently or under supervision.
Responsibilities May Include But Not Limited To
- Identify requirements for money, manpower, materiel, facilities, and services needed to support the program, and ensure support is provided timely and appropriately.
- Collaborate with material support and product support managers to maintain comprehensive support plans.
- Participate in developing maintenance and lifecycle logistics plans for product transition to air logistics centers.
- Develop and execute logistics and sustainment plans.
- Identify and mitigate sustainment issues, specifically on CDA.
- Coordinate efforts of specialists to develop plans and schedules to meet requirements on time.
- Perform clerical and administrative support.
- Provide logistics analytical support for key metrics such as supply, reliability, and maintainability.
- Assist in planning, evaluation, and implementation of acquisition and sustainment strategies per DoD 5000.2 guidance.
- Develop program management documentation for all acquisition and sustainment phases.
- Develop briefings for acquisition milestones and sustainment planning.
- Provide logistics inputs for RFPs, including system specs, SOWs, and CDRLs.
- Assist in developing estimates, financial reports, and analyses.
- Create logistics planning documents like LCSPs, ILSPs, and Depot Source of Repair packages.
- Support technical trade studies and system readiness analyses.
- Assist with T&E strategies and related documentation.
- Support development of capability documents and risk assessments.
- Maintain requirements traceability and develop related reports.
- Support development of key documentation like NR-KPP, ISPs, and IASP.
- Assist with developmental planning studies and analyses.
- Support source selection tasks, including evaluation and strategy development.
Required Skills/Education
- Experience in integrating functions in logistics management.
- Experience with the acquisition lifecycle and product support planning.
- Knowledge of defense acquisition management processes (DoD 5000 series).
- Experience with the DoD product support element structure.
- Familiarity with PS-BCA, LCSP, and LHA processes.
- Knowledge of the DoD Product Support Manager Guidebook.
- Understanding of agency program planning, funding, and management systems.
- Broad knowledge of logistical support activities.
Education
- Master’s or Doctorate in a related field with at least 10 years of experience, 5 in DoD.
- OR Bachelor’s in a related field with 12 years of experience, 5 in DoD.
- OR 15 years of related experience, 8 in DoD.

Security Clearance: Secret.
Position: Full Time.
Location: Hanscom AFB, MA (Hybrid).
Salary: $115K-$125K. Top salaries paid for qualified candidates.
