Job summary
Moove NA, a leader in lubricant distribution, seeks a seasoned Logistics Manager to plan and dispatch routes for internal and external drivers, optimize all freight movements, and negotiate with carriers to meet budget goals. You will develop KPIs, supervise a Logistics Coordinator, and drive improvements across the transportation network.
The role requires a B.S. in a related field with 5–7 years of transportation experience, knowledge of Tanker/Truckload/LTL/Parcel shipping, and proficiency in
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5–7 years of transportation experience.
- Experience with Tanker, Truckload, LTL, Parcel shipping; bulk rail a plus.
- Strong negotiation, influence, and leadership abilities.
- Proven ability to direct teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Plan, manage and dispatch routes for internal and external drivers.
- Oversee and optimize inbound, outbound, and transfer freight movements.
- Negotiate with freight carriers to meet budget goals and improve service.
- Develop and track transportation KPIs; drive continuous improvement across the network.
