Job summary

ASM is seeking a Logistics Specialist to lead day-to-day domestic and international logistics operations, ensuring on-time delivery, cost efficiency, and regulatory compliance. The role collaborates with 3PLs, carriers, and cross-functional teams to optimize material flow and inventory accuracy.

Strong data analytics and SAP-based execution are essential to drive improvements in throughput and service levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent related experience.
• 7+ years of domestic and international logistics, transportation, or supply chain management in capital equipment or hi-tech manufacturing.
• Experience with SAP and knowledge of TMS/WMS functionalities.
• Ability to escalate issues with urgency and work across teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse and distribution operations including inbound receiving, put-away, storage, picking, packing, staging, shipping, and returns.
• Maintain visibility on the warehouse floor, stockrooms, and docks to ensure safe, efficient material movement.
• Monitor productivity drivers like labor utilization, throughput, space optimization, and inventory accuracy.
• Analyze performance using data, dashboards, and reports to identify trends and bottlenecks.
• Apply data analytics to drive decisions on productivity, capacity planning, and cost control.
• Audit freight, handling, and accessorial costs to identify opportunities for cost reduction.
