RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Senior Logistics Analyst – Material Flow & Compliance to support lithium‑ion battery storage compliance, material movement coordination, and continuous improvement across the Tucson facilities.

The role requires strong analytical problem‑solving, cross‑functional collaboration with Logistics, Operations, EH&S, and Supply Chain teams, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment. A DoD Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years of experience.
• Experience in logistics, supply chain, material management, warehouse operations, manufacturing operations, or a related field.
• Experience analyzing operational processes, managing priorities, and coordinating activities across multiple stakeholders.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, for data analysis, reporting, and operational tracking.
• U.S. Citizen - the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor lithium‑ion battery inventory and storage thresholds across Tucson facilities to support compliance with applicable storage, handling, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with Logistics, Operations, and Environmental Health and Safety teams to identify and resolve lithium‑ion battery storage concerns, including material movements necessary to maintain established storage limits.
• Analyze material flow to identify process gaps, improve efficiency, and ensure timely movement of materials between facilities.
• Support daily material distribution activities, including prioritization of expedited material requests, communication with transportation personnel, and resolution of delivery challenges.
• Manage and monitor daily material expedite requests, coordinating with drivers, warehouse personnel, and internal customers to ensure timely execution and issue resolution.
• Develop, maintain, and analyze operational metrics, reports, and tracking tools to monitor material movement, storage compliance, inventory accuracy, and process performance.
• Support root cause investigations and corrective action development related to material handling incidents, inventory discrepancies, compliance concerns, and operational process escapes.
• Partner with Logistics leadership to identify opportunities for process standardization, risk reduction, and continuous improvement.
• Assist with employee onboarding and training coordination for material handling and logistics personnel, ensuring completion of applicable safety, operational, and compliance training requirements.
• Support the development and maintenance of standard work instructions, process documentation, and training materials to improve consistency and operational compliance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to support regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and material accountability requirements.
• Participate in daily operational reviews, communicate material flow constraints, elevate emerging risks, and recommend solutions to improve performance.
