Job summary

Bowhead seeks a Senior Logistics Analyst (Technical Publications) to join the Tactical Communications and Electromagnetic Warfare team in Stafford, VA. The role focuses on developing and delivering logistics acquisition documentation and coordinating events across the lifecycle.

You will provide advanced writing/editing support, ensure compliance with MIL-DTL-28999D(MC) and related guides, and support IPTs with system publication strategies. Security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and external contacts.
• Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment, able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, update, and deliver logistics acquisition documentation (e.g., LCS, Fielding Plans, Technical Manuals, Facilities Impact Reports, IUID Plans, Disposal Plans, SL-3s, I-Type docs).
• Coordinate and participate in logistics events and activities (LOG Demos, Product Support Analyses, Independent Logistics Assessments, audits, test events).
• Provide advanced technical writing and editing for acquisition docs and publications, ensuring compliance with references, directives, and style guides.
• Support IPTs in developing and executing system Technical Publications strategies aligned with milestones.
• Support evaluation/adoption of Commercial Manuals; when not adopted, develop Operator, Field/Intermediate Level Maintenance Manuals.
• Prepare and process TDM-Publications Change Requests and incorporate updates from engineering, configuration, and program changes.
• Maintain electronic documentation libraries, version control, status tracking, and respond to ad-hoc information requests.
