Job summary

Bowhead seeks a Junior Logistics Analyst to support the NMESIS program in Stafford, VA. Responsibilities include logistics support, equipment fielding, inventory accountability, and documentation to ensure fielding readiness and product support.

The role requires DoD logistics exposure, familiarity with GCSS-MC and related systems, and strong MS Office skills. Travel and security clearance to Secret level are anticipated.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field preferred.
• 1–4 years of logistics experience in DoD or government support environments.
• Experience with DoD logistics operations preferred.
• Familiarity with inventory, accountability, and fielding processes.
• Proficiency with Excel for trackers; strong MS Office skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work with government and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Support logistics, equipment fielding, sustainment, and product support activities.
• Maintain inventories, serialized asset tracking, and accountability records.
• Prepare and maintain fielding trackers, lists, and related documentation.
• Participate in logistics events, audits, and conferences.
• Assist with IUID plans, serial-number verification, and data-plate checks.
• Update program trackers and briefing materials; track meeting actions.
