Job summary

Bowhead in Stafford, VA seeks a Senior Logistics Analyst to support the Combat Element Systems program. You will manage program logistics documentation, track assets in GCSS-MC, and ensure compliance with USMC manuals and standards.

You will assist the LMS, train team members, and generate reports on process improvements while maintaining strong customer communication with government partners.

Qualifications

• Ten years of defense life-cycle (acquisition) logistics support experience, or 13 years if not DAWIA Level 2.
• DAWIA Lifecycle Logistics Level 2 certification or equivalent training.
• Familiarity with DODI 5000.02, SECNAVINST 5000.2, NMCARS Part 5207, MAG.
• Proficiency with MS Office at an intermediate level.

Responsibilities

• Create, manage, and maintain documentation for program logistics operations per USMC standards.
• Track assets using GCSS-MC and verify receipt docs from Marine Units.
• Ensure documentation adheres to USMC manuals and standards.
• Provide responsive support to Government customers and communicate effectively.
• Assist LMS in managing logistics tasks and training team members on procedures.
• Generate reports on asset tracking, documentation status, and improvements.
