Qualifications

• 5–9 years of relevant experience in roadway or transportation design.
• EIT certification required; PE license or active pursuit of PE preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering.
• Proficiency in MicroStation required; AutoCAD experience highly desirable.
• Familiarity with ODOT standards and experience preparing plans for DOT and municipal clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead and prepare transportation design plans for ODOT and municipal projects.
• Oversee organization of all local government transportation projects.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with local governments across Ohio.
• Provide technical expertise and mentorship to junior staff.
• Collaborate with teams across offices for multi-disciplinary initiatives.

Skills

5–9 years of relevant experience in roadway or transportation design

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering

EIT certification required; PE license or active pursuit of PE preferred

Proficiency in MicroStation

AutoCAD experience highly desirable

Familiarity with ODOT standards

Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
