Job summary

BNY seeks a Loan Specialist to join the Credit Services Administration team in Pittsburgh, PA. This hybrid role supports loan closing readiness, credit agreement interpretation, facility setup and activation, ongoing facility maintenance, regulatory data requirements, and portfolio monitoring across Corporates, Financial Institutions, and Real Estate lending.

This role is based in Pittsburgh with an expectation of 4 days onsite per week and standard hours of 8:30 AM–5:00 PM Eastern.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in loan servicing, middle office, credit administration, or related financial services function.
• Understanding of the credit loan lifecycle, including closings, onboarding, and maintenance events.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a high-intensity, fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the broader Office Suite.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business Administration.

Responsibilities

• Loan Origination Coordination: onboarding, facility setup, activation of credit facilities; interpret credit agreement terms.
• Credit Documentation Review: extract key terms from credit agreements and documents.
• Facility Setup & Lifecycle Management: manage onboarding, amendments, waivers, extensions, repricings, restructurings.
• Portfolio Monitoring: monitor loan portfolios, reconcile activity, support covenant compliance.
• Stakeholder Coordination: work with lenders, loan operations, regulators, and internal teams.
• Regulatory & Quality Control Support: ensure data integrity and regulatory reporting readiness (FR Y-14Q, 2052a).
• Cross‑Functional Change Support: assist migration to a new loan system; gather requirements and test.
• Cross‑Training & Development: build expertise across corporates, real estate, FIs; broaden skills over time.
