Ascend Bank is seeking a senior Loan Servicing Operations Support Analyst III to oversee complex investor reporting, remittance, and GL reconciliation across Commercial, Residential, and Consumer loan portfolios. The position requires advanced knowledge of loan servicing operations, loan accounting, and applicable regulations, with leadership in monitoring exceptions and driving remediation.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of similar or related experience in loan servicing, investor reporting, accounting, or reconciliation functions preferred.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); reporting tools and Adobe Acrobat experience a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and timely investor reporting for all investor loans and maintain data integrity.
• Oversee remittance of monthly payments to investors and reconcile custodial accounts; research variances.
• Establish monitoring controls to detect reporting/remittance failures and drive remediation.
• Serve as escalation point for investor exceptions, disputes, and audit inquiries; coordinate corrective actions.
• Perform daily portfolio balancing and reconcile loan trial balance activity to the General Ledger; review in‑process accounts for exceptions.
• Manage GL‑impacting loan servicing transactions and maintain controls and documentation.
• Ensure escrow and custodial balances are reconciled and compliant with RESPA requirements.
• Oversee collateral documentation and lien perfection; monitor for aged collateral exceptions and release processing.
• Provide governance oversight for escrow updates and escalation paths; coordinate with Legal/Recording, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Lead process improvement initiatives for servicing operations and participate in system enhancements and UAT testing.
• Maintain internal controls, support audits, and provide guidance to Analyst I/II for performance insights.
