Job summary

SouthState Bank is seeking a detail-oriented professional to support the Loan Operations Department. The role involves loan booking, maintenance, payments processing, escrow tracking, and collateral release.

You will help manage special projects, balance workloads, and ensure timely production while maintaining accuracy and compliance with internal policies. Ideal candidates have at least 3 years in Loan Operations, strong Excel/Office skills, and experience with loan servicing and regulatory

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in a Loan Operations role with loan servicing knowledge.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Visio required.
• Familiarity with FiServ Premier Systems and regulatory items is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing Loan Ops special projects and remediations.
• Balance workloads within Loan Operations during peak periods.
• Review loan docs, board new/renewed/modified loans to servicing system.
• Update departmental procedures and assist with process improvements.
• Train/cross-train staff and ensure compliance with policies.
