Job summary

Bank of Hope in Fort Lee, NJ seeks a Support Manager to oversee all loan operations—documentation, closing, funding boarding, collateral monitoring, loan servicing and customer service. You will supervise origination staff, enforce policies, train team members, coordinate between lending departments, and ensure accurate information across the loan process.

The full-time role offers a salary range of $70,000 to $75,000 annually plus bonus and benefits, with compensation determined by experience

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge in Loan Operations policies and procedures.
• Extensive knowledge of banking regulations and state/federal rules.
• Extensive knowledge in Fiserv System.

Responsibilities

• Manage activities related to loans including documentation, closing, funding, and servicing.
• Supervise loan operations staff and workflow.
• Enforce policies; review procedures for efficiency and productivity.
• Provide guidance and training to staff for career growth.
• Liaise between lending departments to ensure accuracy of information.
• Upload and review final signed loan documents into Global Wave (GW).
• Collateral follow-up and review; monitor daily accounts and GL balances.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system/processing issues; resolve escalated customer service issues.
• Understand loan accounting system for boarding of new, renewals, extensions, restructurings, and changes.
• Process/approve loan/GL tickets using online posting modules (TMS/Block-Infra).
• Handle daily callbacks for new/renewal/extension/modification and close non-post items.
• Fully understand loan structure and process of loan documentation, closing, funding and boarding.
• Self-process and review loan documentation, closing, funding, and boarding.
• Assign/Approve/review loan documentation, closing and boarding.
• Assist senior officers and loan operations staff as needed.
• Assist Manager with department projects including planning, testing, vendor communications and cross-training.
• Assist manager in creating and monitoring department procedures and manuals.
• Assist manager with vendor management cooperation.
• Attend trainings and seminars for continuing education.
• Provide mentoring and training to new and existing team members.
