Job summary

Carta, Inc. is seeking a Loan Operations Manager to lead the loan servicing lifecycle for private credit instruments, including term loans, DDTLs, revolvers and unitranche facilities.

You will ensure accurate interest, fees, accruals, amortization, and cash reconciliations while coordinating with fund accounting and investment teams. This role operates in a hybrid environment (3 days in office) across NY and other locations, with a focus on accuracy, risk management, and scalable servicing

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in private credit loan operations or bank loan servicing.
• Expertise in credit agreement mechanics including origination and lifecycle events.
• Proficiency with LSTA/LMA conventions and benchmark rate calculations (SOFR).
• Strong numerical accuracy and ability to analyze complex positions and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire loan servicing lifecycle for complex private credit instruments (term loans, DDTLs, revolvers, unitranche, asset-based lending).
• Ensure accurate calculation/processing of interest, fees, accruals, amortization, and OID, with proper documentation for audit/reporting.
• Execute and reconcile cash transactions; maintain lender/borrower communications; resolve settlement breaks with stakeholders.
