Job summary

Susser Bank in Plano, TX seeks an experienced Loan Processor to ensure adherence to bank lending policies and state and federal regulations. You will prepare loan documents, manage real estate files, and coordinate with loan officers to move files from application through closing.

In this role you will order title commitments, appraisals, and credit reports, review documents for closings, and provide strong customer service in person at the lobby.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent education and experience required.
• Five years of job-related experience required, preferably in the financial industry.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the development and maintenance of loan and credit files, ensuring completeness and timeliness.
• Prepares loan documents for officers and supports the bank lobby with customer service.
• Processes and follows up on new and renewal documents, processes renewals on real estate files.
• Prepares packets that include plans/cost breakdown for the appraisal department and loan set up sheet.
• Processes and closes loan documents in person with customer.
• Processes loans from approval to closing; sends out new and renewal documents and collects signatures for various exceptions.
• Orders Title Commitments, Flood Certificates, Appraisals, Title Binder Extensions, UCC searches and Credit Reports
• Approves HUDs for closing and requests Plans and Cost Breakdown sheets for interims.
• Reviews and approves documents before they are sent to close and handles Title Commitment and Appraisals checks.
• Places Red Flag verifications on all new loans and sends denial/withdrawal letters as necessary.
• Communicates loan status with the Loan Origination Department, Compliance Department, Loan Officers, and Customers.
• Performs duties in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
