Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Senior Associate, Loan Documentation & Closing Specialist for Plano, TX and Richmond, VA. You will coordinate closings, prepare and review loan documents, ensuring they conform to bank policy and regulations while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

You will perform due diligence, lien perfection, and review third-party documents, coordinating with underwriters, title companies, and relationship managers to meet closing conditions and timelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification.
• 3+ years of experience in Microsoft Office or G Suite.
• 3+ years of experience in Banking or Financial Services.
• 3+ years of experience of Loan Closing experience.
• 3+ years of customer service experience in Small Business or Commercial lending support.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate loan closings and prepare loan documents.
• Review loan documents for policy and regulatory compliance.
• Perform lien searches and due diligence on collateral.
• Coordinate letters of credit including renewals and amendments.
• Train and mentor junior associates in the department.
• Stay current on regulatory changes affecting lending compliance.
