Alter Domus in Chicago seeks a loan agency operations professional to act as primary owner of assigned deals, coordinating with loan agency support staff and borrowers to manage deal information and documentation.

This role requires careful review and negotiation of credit agreements, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel and Bloomberg; the team emphasizes professionalism, client focus and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or commensurate work experience.
• 3+ years of investment management operations or loan agency/syndication experience.
• Ability to learn new concepts quickly and research issues independently.
• Collaborate with internal groups and external clients.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excel proficiency and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Bloomberg and loan analysis tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary owner of assigned deals.
• Coordinate with Loan Agency support staff to communicate deal information to borrower and lending group.
• Review and negotiate issues within credit agreements.
• Maintain the agency system reflecting attributes of each credit agreement.
