Associated Bank is seeking a Loan Closing Specialist in Chicago to facilitate commercial real estate loan closings from due diligence to funding. You will coordinate with borrowers, counsel, lenders, and title companies to ensure accurate, on-time closings and post-closing follow-up.

The role emphasizes thorough documentation, regulatory compliance, and delivering high-quality customer service across the loan lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.
• 3+ years of customer service experience in a professional office environment.
• 3+ years of experience in commercial lending, commercial real estate finance, legal documentation, accounting, or loan-related data systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate commercial real estate loan closings from due diligence through funding.
• Review and facilitate loan documentation, ensuring closing requirements are satisfied prior to funding.
• Partner with borrowers, legal counsel, lenders, title companies, and stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain timelines.
• Prepare and review settlement statements and process loan disbursements.
• Manage construction loan monitoring and related draws and reviews.
• Monitor post-closing deliverables and ensure complete loan files.
