Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a Loan Document Administrator to support syndicated lending closings, funding, and booking. You will collaborate with internal partners to ensure accurate documentation and timely settlements.

The role requires familiarity with commercial lending processes, ability to review complex loan documents, and strong organizational skills to manage multiple closings in a fast-paced environment at our Chicago office.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with commercial lending or Loan IQ (system of record).
• Familiarity with commercial credit or commercial loan terminology.
• Experience with reading, interpreting, and analyzing complex legal documentation such as credit agreements, and amendments.
• Highly organized, proactive, and able to plan, prioritize and manage deliverables.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to target messaging to different audiences.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that loan documentation and lien perfection meets bank policies and procedures and that work product is delivered in an accurate and timely manner.
• Reviews the loan approval and loan documents prepared by counsel to ensure consistency and adherence to requirements.
• Completes primary financial booking and initial loan funding.
• Works closely with Client Managers, Credit and Portfolio Officers, agency management, internal and external legal counsel, and many internal operational support units to ensure seamless execution of transactions.
