Job summary

Blythe Construction is seeking a Loader Operator to inspect and operate heavy equipment for earthworks on construction sites. You will handle dozers, scrapers, loaders, excavators, tractors, front loaders and back hoes to excavate, move and grade earth, ensuring conformance with grade specifications.

Strong communication with crew and adherence to safety signals are essential. We value candidates with 3+ years of related experience and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Experience as Loader Operator or similar role preferred.
• Must understand construction signals and radio/hand signals.
• At least 3 years of industry-related experience, roads/highways/bridges preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect equipment for safe day-to-day operation and maintenance needs.
• Operate heavy equipment (dozers, scrapers, loaders, excavators, tractors, front loaders, back hoes) to excavate, move and grade earth.
• Coordinate with laborers to align and adjust equipment for grading specifications.
• Turn valves to control air and water output of compressors and pumps.
• Adjust controls to operate machinery and attachments.
