Job summary

Blythe Development Co, a Charlotte, NC–based licensed general contractor, is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to support site work across North and South Carolina. You will operate loaders, excavators, bulldozers, rollers and related equipment safely on active jobsites.

Responsibilities include daily equipment checks, routine maintenance, following Foremen's instructions to meet schedules, and working as part of a team with flexibility for schedule and location changes.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift, push, pull, and/or carry 50+ lbs
• 2+ years' experience as a heavy equipment operator (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment safely on jobsites (front-end loaders, trackhoe, bulldozer, GPS dozer, roller, trucks, excavator, skidsteer)
• Perform daily equipment checks and routine maintenance
• Follow Foremen's instructions to meet schedules
• Coordinate with team and adapt to schedule/location changes
• Comply with all safety policies and procedures
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and operate with three points of contact
