Job summary

PNM Resources is seeking a Sr Load Research Data and Systems Analyst in Albuquerque, NM to plan, design, and conduct research that informs economic interpretation and problem solving for energy systems.

Under general supervision, you will lead load research activities, perform SAS analyses, manage data, and contribute to regulatory proceedings and forecasting efforts with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics or related field with 5–7 years related experience.
• Experience performing load research, statistics, and economic analyses.
• Ability to prepare reports for regulatory proceedings and senior management.

Responsibilities

• Disseminates data on historical and projected energy demand for the Company and customers.
• Performs load research activities including data acquisition, modeling, and reporting.
• Evaluates load and financial impacts of programs for regulatory filings.
• Performs SAS analyses for regulatory and rate-design needs.
• Provides support to CFO and Regulatory Policy teams on load forecast issues.
