Job summary

NextDecade is seeking a senior Cost Analyst to support cost management for LNG EPC projects. The role focuses on cost estimating, budgeting, tracking, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities include budget development, change order evaluation, and performance analysis. Occasional travel to project sites may be required as projects progress in construction phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Accounting, Business Management, Finance, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of cost control, earned value, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Experience managing budgets, cost reporting, cash flow forecasting, and contingency evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Convert estimates into control budgets and develop detailed project budgets.
• Evaluate scope changes and change orders and prepare monthly cost reports.
• Administer cost codes and track commitments, actuals, and accruals.
• Generate reports and performance indicators including earned value and cash flow.
• Reforecast project costs based on performance factors and trends.
• Review vendor and contractor monthly invoices and support EPC estimates.
