Job summary

Solaris Management Consultants Inc. in Houston seeks a Senior LNG Process Engineer to ensure safe, efficient LNG facility design and operation, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams across projects.

You will perform process simulations, develop PFDs/P&IDs, review vendor calculations, and contribute to risk analyses while supporting junior staff and client engagements in a dynamic energy environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7–10 years LNG engineering, design and operations experience.
• Strong understanding of LNG processing, handling and safety protocols.
• Knowledge of LNG regulations, standards and licensor technologies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design LNG facilities.
• Lead client-facing communications and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develop PFDs, P&IDs, data sheets and narratives for LNG systems.
• Perform mass and energy balances, equipment sizing and hydraulic modelling.
• Support risk analyses (PHA, HAZOP, LOPA) and junior staff.
