Job summary

Stellar Energy Global Infrastructure in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an LNG Process Engineer to lead process engineering and design activities for LNG facilities and modular energy systems from concept to production.

You will perform LNG process and utility system design, run simulations, size equipment, review PFDs and P&IDs, and coordinate with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams to deliver safe, compliant solutions on time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in mechanical, structural, or chemical engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in supporting design of industrial facilities.
• Minimum 5 years of process engineering experience for LNG or similar process facilities.
• Working knowledge of LNG process systems, cryogenic service, refrigeration cycles, natural gas processing, and process safety requirements.
• Experience developing PFDs, P&IDs, process calculations, equipment datasheets, and process specifications for LNG or natural gas facilities.

Responsibilities

• Undertake engineering and design work under the supervision of Senior Engineers and the Business Development Team
• Provide technical support to bids and proposals, such as schematics, equipment selection and specification review
• Perform calculations and data analysis to accurately predict impact on product design decisions
• Prepare design deliverables including datasheets, specifications, schedules, diagrams to enable procurement, supply, fabrication, installation, and construction to take place
• Support and organize vendor technical clarification meetings
• Prepare, modify, and maintain flow diagrams and P&ID's as well as equipment, instrumentation, and production specifications
• Provide technical assistance to the project team as required (e.g., subcontract evaluation, scope definition, design schematics etc.)
