Job summary

CANUSA EPC is seeking an experienced Senior Process Engineer to join our Houston team. You will provide process engineering expertise from concept through detailed design and execution for natural gas, LNG, midstream, petrochemical, and energy projects.

You will work with clients, vendors, and operations personnel to develop innovative engineering solutions and ensure project success. The role requires performing engineering analyses, developing technical deliverables, and supporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
• 8+ years of process engineering experience in natural gas processing, LNG, NGL, oil & gas, petrochemical, or related energy industries.
• PE license preferred but not required; candidates pursuing licensure encouraged to apply.
• Experience with cryogenic, refrigeration, amine treating, dehydration, and natural gas processing systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop process engineering studies, calculations, basis of design documents, and technical reports.
• Develop and maintain process simulation models using HYSYS, ProMax, or similar software.
• Prepare and review PFDs, HMBs, and P&IDs.
• Perform pressure relief system calculations, PSV sizing, flare system evaluations, and relief header analysis.
• Develop equipment sizing calculations and equipment specifications.
• Review vendor documentation for technical compliance with project requirements.
• Participate in PHA, HAZOPs, and design review meetings.
• Collaborate with project managers, discipline engineers, clients, vendors, and operations personnel throughout project execution.
