Job summary

TekWissen Group seeks an experienced Instrumentation & Controls Technician IV for a 12‑month, onsite role in Sabine Pass, TX. The position involves installing, calibrating, and maintaining LNG facility instrumentation, SIS, and control systems to ensure safe, reliable plant operations.

The candidate will work with DCS/PLC platforms, troubleshoot I/O and field devices, and support commissioning, turnarounds, and safety procedures while coordinating with Operations and Engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience calibrating, maintaining, and troubleshooting field instrumentation.
• Familiar with DCS/PLC interfaces, I/O, 4-20 mA signals, and loop checks.
• Experience with SIS/ESD devices and safety-related instrumentation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on field instrumentation.
• Calibrate transmitters, switches, and pressure/temperature/flow instruments.
• Maintain and troubleshoot valves, actuators, and related final control elements.
• Support DCS/PLC-related troubleshooting and system commissioning.
• Maintain accurate records of tests, calibrations, and equipment status.
• Coordinate with Operations and Process Safety for safe work execution.
