What does a Senior LMS Administrator do? Think of yourself as someone who will manage the LMS user experience, so not just anyone is qualified for this role! We make sure we get the best of the best; after all, we are a ridiculously good company, so we make sure our employees are top-notch. Now, we need your full concentration because it’s time to imagine what it’s like being an LMS Administrator.

Imagine yourself going to work with one thing on your mind: that you will generate reports and maintain the compliance dashboard. As you tackle your new tasks for the day, you know it will lead to one thing: that you will connect and help users who have LMS issues.

As a Senior LMS Administrator, you will be responsible for the overall LMS user experience, making sure that the LMS is kept spick and span. You will do alpha and beta testing and provide feedback to the media developers. You will ensure that the roster is up-to-date and deactivate separated employees as needed. You will set up the course structure in Moodle, enabling all required features. You will provide analysis, insights, and recommendations to the reports generated. You will coordinate with the required departments to help increase compliance. You will monitor LMS enrollments, create and assign LMS courses, and upload course content. You will configure, maintain, and continuously improve LMS tools, dashboards, and plugins. You will maintain the course structure of the LMS. You will interact with the developers, stakeholders, and learners to analyze, troubleshoot, and respond to any LMS-related issues while following TaskUs’ communication guidelines. You will ensure the roster is up-to-date (including cohorts). You will manage roster competencies and badges. You will lead the effort to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve LMS-related system issues and challenges as well as help to identify and prevent potential problems before they occur. You will also generate compliance reports regularly. You will create and maintain slick, easy-to-read dashboards for compliance and LMS issues. You will design and run ad hoc and standard reports for compliance systems. You will also function as a Systems QA, wherein you will create or upload learning events. You will also review SCORM packages to see if they function as they should.

Do you have what it takes to become a Senior LMS Administrator?

As an administrator, we need someone with a degree that’s focused on L&D systems, Computer Science, or any related field of study. In terms of work experience, we need someone who has experience generating reports using Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets. Someone who has at least 1-2 years of customer service or technical support experience is required. Experience managing a Learning Management System is a big advantage.

Now, let’s get technical. We need someone who demonstrates the ability to simultaneously handle a large and diverse number of technical tasks and LMS functionality issues with tact, cooperation, and persistence. Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills are a must. Must be focused on customer satisfaction. Expertise in managing a learning management system (preferably Moodle LMS) is essential. We also need someone who demonstrates a strong interest in working in training and the human resources field. Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills are required. Proficiency with G-Suite Applications or Microsoft Office Apps is necessary. Strong attention to detail in reviewing data and project management skills is critical. Lastly, familiarity with HTML, Javascript, and CSS is a plus. A technology literate individual who can easily work with new software (e.g., media authoring tools, office suite, and other web apps) is preferred. Knowledge of learning theories and methodologies is also a big plus.

How We Partner To Protect You: TaskUs will neither solicit money from you during your application process nor require any form of payment in order to proceed with your application. Kindly ensure that you are always in communication with only authorized recruiters of TaskUs.
