Job summary

Belmont Village Senior Living is seeking a Wellness Coordinator to oversee clinical and care aspects of the community, supporting the Director of Nursing in wellness initiatives and regulatory compliance. Active LVN/LPN/RN license required, CPR certification within 30 days, and at least one year of medication administration experience preferred.

Supervisory experience is a plus; strong communication and computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Active nursing license (LVN/LPN/RN) in the state of employment.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum one year of medication administration experience preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Clear verbal and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operations of the community Wellness Center.
• Follow up on physicians orders, coordinate services with ancillary providers and report to physicians and families any changes of condition or other pertinent clinical care information.
• Administer medication to an assigned group of residents according to physicians orders and report any adverse reactions or clinical observations documenting as necessary.
• Ensure resident care and service plans are followed by supervising Medication Technicians and Caregivers.
• Make appropriate situational decisions and manage conflict resolution constructively.
• Update and review resident medical records, clinical documentation, and incident reports.
• Assist the Director of Resident Care Services in regulatory compliance and enhancing resident satisfaction.
• Assist in maintaining and training of infection control and hazard communication programs.
