Job summary

Belmont Village Senior Living is seeking a Wellness Coordinator in Illinois to oversee clinical and care activities within the community. You will support the Director of Nursing, communicate with physicians, families, and staff, and lead Caregivers and Medication Technicians as needed.

The ideal candidate holds an active nursing license (LVN/LPN/RN), is CPR certified or willing to obtain, and has experience supervising nursing staff in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active nursing license in the state where the community is located; LVN/LPN/RN accepted.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operations of the Wellness Center.
• Follow physician orders, coordinate services with providers and report changes to physicians and families.
• Administer medications to an assigned group of residents per physician orders and document observations.
• Ensure care/service plans are followed by supervising staff.
• Make timely clinical decisions and resolve conflicts constructively.
• Update resident medical records, clinical documentation, and incident reports.
• Assist Director of Resident Care Services with regulatory compliance and resident satisfaction.
• Assist in maintaining infection control and hazard communication programs.
